Preparing their installation inside one of Moore Station’s large halls for the 6th edition of the No Bounds︎︎︎ festival, the artist asked Plot Generica to compose a 15 minutes sound piece that would loop during the public’s tour of the space.
The piece was created by considering both the location - an active power station - and the visually provocative nature of the project. Part of Noémie’s work is a mixture of human and non-human elements, which the piece aims to incorporate by mixing recordings of the artist’s voice and breathing with digital interferences, including sampled sounds of the power station itself.
